National Toast to honour the life and achievements of Michael Jackson September 30, 2007

In honour of Michael Jackson, beerbistro will be featuring three Dogfish Head beers as toast beers for the evening: ‘Raison d’Etre’--a beautifully complex, deep mahogany artisanal ale brewed with raisins; 60-Minute IPA--a session IPA with prominent citrusy-hop character; and 90-Minute IPA--a big, bold Imperial IPA with a malt backbone that stands up to its extreme hopping rate.

These are world-class beers for a world class individual.
All proceeds from the sale of our toast beers will go to support the National Parkinson Foundation.

Win a Private Tutored Beer Cellar Tasting Raffle

As part of the events leading to the September 30th National Toast to honour the life and achievements of the late Michael Jackson, the world’s greatest beer authority, beerbistro is raffling off a Private Tutored Beer Tasting for eight people. The tasting will feature exclusive selections from the beerbistro Cellar, and your host for the night will be Canadian and international beer expert, Stephen Beaumont.

The tasting will take place in beerbistro’s private back room and feature exceptional ales and lagers from Canada, the United States, Belgium and beyond--with the beerbistro kitchen providing select courses of gourmet beer cuisine to accompany the beers.
All proceeds from the raffle sales will go to support the National Parkinson Foundation.

Tickets are only $10 each, or three for $25 and may be purchased in person from beerbistro leading up to and during the event of September 30th.
The draw will take place following the Michael Jackson Memorial Toast at 9pm on September 30 at beerbistro.
