Everyone,

We're getting LOTS of GREAT feedback and recommendations for different events we can hold on the National Support Barack Obama Day. Most of us will be sporting our Obama 08 gear and be walking billboards for Obama that entire day however holding events throughout the Nation would REALLY sent a strong message to voters.

For those that want to hold events such as rallies, walk-a-thons and fundraisers during the National Support Barack Obama Day Please submit your email to: [email protected] and I'll create a distribution list for this event where we can schedule conference calls to discuss our options for the National Support Barack Obama Day!

Also please visit the our Talk Barack Obama Forum at: www.talkbarackobama08.com and join the discussion!

Thank you again for your support in this event and let's keep promoting this event to friends, family and co-workers.

I originally posted this as a blog and there are some comments below. Maybe we can do a headcount for the proposed date. Please email me with other recommended dates.

What do you think of a National Support Your Candidate (Presidential Hopeful Obama) day where everyone around the Nation wears Obama gear from caps, tees, sweats, buttons, etc.? Wouldn't that make a statement? What about having a 'Round the Nation' Rally where every support group hold rallies in their local area in support of Obama's campaign? I'm proposing Saturday, June 9th as the National Rally Day to give time for pending Obama Gear orders to get to your locations.

I actually kind of like this idea - if everyone does it on the same day, it would be a way for fellow Obama supporters to identify each other.

What's a good day for it? Hopefully sometime warm if we're going to be wearing T-shirts.

Well, we can wear Obama caps and sweatshirts if the weather it cool/cold. If theres an indoor event it really wouldnt matter, but I agree, if youre not attending an event and just hanging out or doing some shopping it should be something like a hat or button or sweatshirt. I think waiting for warm weather may be risky based on the timing of the scheduled debates. Let's throw a few dates out there and see what the other regions think.
