National Recycling Day Recycling Center November 15, 2011

Since our community has been reluctant to start a recycling program, Shangri La and Waste Mangement will sponsor a one-day recycling center. We will accept Plastic (1-7), mixed paper, newspaper, cardboard, aluminum and steel cans. This will help the public become more informed about recycling and hopefully get the city to see it has support. We will encourage people to start saving their recyclable items immediately. Since Shangri La is one of the top ten green projects (AIAA), we will show items that were made from recycled products at a booth where people drop off their items.
