National Public Lands Day September 26, 2009

Join us on Saturday, September 26, as we celebrate National Public Lands Day. Volunteers and scouting groups are needed to help clean up several commonly-used sections of the park. We will meet at the Obed Visitor Center, located at 208 North Maiden Street in downtown Wartburg, at 9:00 a.m. (Eastern time). From there, we will head down to various sections of the river and pick up trash. Upon returning to the visitor center around noon, prizes will be given out to our volunteers. Please bring sturdy shoes, insect repellant, and gloves.
