One of the last great symphonies of the 19th century, Mahler’s Symphony No. 1, “Titan,” celebrates the greatness of the Romantic Era. Filled with unforgettable melodies and rousing climaxes, the work can serve as a welcoming introduction to Mahler. Violin virtuoso Soovin Kim is featured in two contrasting works by Dvorák and Saint-Saëns.
