Join the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NYC Chapter for the 11th Annual Books for a Better Life Awards, honoring the best self improvement books of 2006. Nine winners will be selected from a group of forty-five finalists in various categories including, childcare/parenting, The Suze Orman First Book Award, inspirational memoir, motivational, psychology, relationships, spiritual, wellness, and personal finance.

In addition, Nancy Davis, founder of the Nancy Davis Foundation for Multiple Sclerosis and author of “Lean on Me” as well as the authors of “Multiple Sclerosis for Dummies,” will be presented with honorary MS Awareness Awards.

Hosted by NBC Today Show Co-Anchor Meredith Vieira, the awards will also honor the Co-Creators of the “Chicken Soup for the Soul” book series as well as the Founder and President of Workman Publishing Company, who will be inducted in to the Ardath Rodale Hall of Fame for their revered work in the publishing industry.

Proceeds from the event will benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, NYC Chapter.
