National Day of Action September 27, 2008

September 27 is the National Day of Action. The Summit is just the beginning of this exciting movement. As a result of its momentum, communities across the country will host Days of Action. CFC is partnering with Do Something and Idealist.org to host a Youth Action Fair featuring immediate and sustainable ways that youth can become involved in their communities. Fair attendees will participate in hands-on service projects and learn more about voter registration, civic engagement, RelightNY, and ongoing volunteer opportunities. The fair will feature an appearance by NYC’s own Lil Mama
