The Nashville Earth Day Festival is a free event that offers access to a variety of fun and exciting educational and environmental activities. This year’s theme will be “Together—Growing a Greener Nashville.”

Nashville Earth Day Festival aims to educate the public about ways to reduce its impact on the environment in a fun atmosphere. The festival will include food from local vendors, an interactive area for children, and presentation booths from community groups, environmental organizations and government agencies. The exhibit topics are clean air, clean water, sustainable building, energy, food and farming, and many more.

This year, the festival is featuring a safe-disposal MEDS collection event hosted by Aegis Sciences. Visitors will be able to recycle excess and expired medications.

In addition, "ReCycle Your Cycle" will also be collecting gently-used bicycles that can be recycled and reused.
