Nalip 9 Conference March 7, 2008

The 2008 Conference will be NALIP’s ninth. SIN LIMITES: Trends in Pan-Latino Cinema will be held March 7 – 9, 2008 at the Laguna Cliffs Marriott in Dana Point, California.

The Conference will look at the remarkable growth in cross-boundary, cross-cultural creations that have developed in the Latino media landscape. The program will highlight case-studies and showcases of talent, while including workshops and seminars, keynotes and our 2008 Estela Awards.

This year’s conference co-chairs are producer Frida Torresblanco (PAN’S LABYRINTH) and playwright Elaine Romero (Secret Things). The Conference 9 website, with full program and registration information is now active at www.nalip.org.
