The Greater Tangipahoa Parish Branch NAACP, Court-appointed Representative Voice for the Plaintiffs in the decades old Joyce Marie Moore School Desegregation Case against the Tangipahoa Parish School System will be in court Monday, June 8, 2009 - 9:00 a.m. for a scheduled hearing to determine if Judge Ivan Lemelle will rule in favor of the Defendent School Board's motion for an expedited hearing on a desegregation plan that has been submitted to Judge Lemelle's court by the Tangipahoa Parish School System, or if Judge Lemelle will schedule a date for a trial hearing for the Plaintiffs side in the Moore Case in this decades old deseg lawsuit.

We want to hold a News Press Conference immediately following this hearing on the steps of the Federal Courthouse Building Monday.

Don't forget that we are showing the judge a force of people behind Nelson Taylor on June 8, 2009 at the Federal Court Building. Get your people on board! Do not waste time on this one folks. We know games are being played to derail Nelson Taylor as lead counsel in this lawsuit. We have made it clear to Judge Lemelle through black plaintiffs that we are opposed to Gideon Carter staying on board. We are in favor of Nelson Taylor staying on as lead counsel. In a show of black and white solidarity, please get your people to show up at the Federal Court house building Monday, June 8, 2009 at 9am.
SIT BEHIND NELSON TAYLOR IN A CLUSTERED POOL - NOT STAGGERED SPARCELY!
