Mystery and History of the Eruv: A Symposium October 28, 2012

Prominent scholars, writers and artists explore the surprising history, communal dynamics and mysterious character of the eruv in this symposium, which complements the Museum's exhibition 'It's a Thin Line: The Eruv and Jewish Community in New York and Beyond.' Speakers will include: Prof. Charlotte Fonrobert, Prof. Jeffrey Gurock, artist Elliott Malkin, Rabbi Adam Mintz, Prof. Thane Rosenbaum, and Prof. Lawrence Schiffman, among others.
