What do an English psychologist, an Arapahoe lawyer, and an expert on assassination have in common? Theyre all fictional detectives, and the writers who created them will be at the Williamsburg Library Theatre on Monday, March 31 at 7 p.m. Join authors Jacqueline Winspear, Margaret Coel (pronounced Cole), and William and Mary Writer-in-Residence David L. Robbins in a freewheeling conversation with critic and mystery expert Willetta Heising (pronounced HI-zing).
The panel will discuss constructing mysteries, developing characters, and dealing with the ups and downs of publishing. Jacqueline Winspear is the author of the award-winning Maisie Dobbs series (An Incomplete Revenge). Margaret Coel achieved critical and commercial success with her Wind River series (The Girl with Braided Hair). David L. Robbins (The Betrayal Game) is a best-selling author and 2008 Writer-in-Residence at William and Mary.
Mysteries @ Your Library is sponsored by Friends of Williamsburg Regional Library. Tickets are not required for this free program. A reception and book signing will follow the event. More information is available by calling (757) 259-4050 or visiting www.wrl.org/programs.
