Mysteries in Foreign Lands: A Panel Discussion with Cara Black, Rhys Bowen, Tony Broadbent and David Corbett June 4, 2007

Widely acclaimed Bay Area mystery writers talk about the rewards and challenges of writing mysteries set abroad. Cara Black’s stories feature Aimee Leduc, computer-security analyst and sleuth, whose cases occur in the arrondissements of Paris. Rhys Bowen’s Molly Murphy and Constable Evans series explore historical Ireland and Wales. Tony Broadbent’s Jethro series center on cat burglaries in post WWII London. David Corbett’s most recent crime thriller takes place in El Salvador amidst grinding poverty, corruption, and spiraling crime. A book signing will follow the panel discussion.
