MyChoonz - the DJ Democracy May 21, 2008

MyChoonz (think “my tunes”) was born in the UK, where a group of friends grew tired of big name DJs playing the same music over and over. So they invented a night, where everyone could be a star.

All wannabees needed was five tracks, and a DJ name. Soon it had pubs and bars rocking up and down the country and now plays at festivals, parties throughout the land.

Now come join the fun in this night as it opens stateside showcasing a mix of eclectic music, wannabe DJs and tomfoolery all in a DJ spinoff taking place at the Skinny, 174 Orchard St (Orchard and Stanton).
