If you want to create striking pictures of life around you: pictures with feeling that leave viewers with an emotional after taste, then My Place: Creative Photography Online is the course for you. Conducted entirely online, this course allows you to participate fully no matter where you live in any Australian state or territory- even overseas. Participants will use the internet resource flickr.com as the point of contact between the tutor and one another. There are no face-to-face meetings and no online forums at particular times. However, there are structured weekly assignments that participants will need to complete and publish to flickr.com where the tutor will offer feedback and participants can comment on each others work. The course concludes with an analysis of your strengths and some recommendations on how to prepare a portfolio. Details of this event may be subject to change.
