My It Things Hosting Runway Show Featuring America’s Next Top Model Jaslene Gonzalez and Project Runway’s Model Winner Lisa Nargi
WHAT: Join us for the runway show event concluding the largest online contest for the next "It" fashion designer!
Hundreds of designers submitted their portfolios and nearly one hundred thousand votes were cast by the http://MyItThings.com community, making this the largest online fashion design contest in history!
Superstar models including America’s Top Model Jaslene Gonzalez and Lisa Nargi, the model-winner of the last Project Runway season, will be walking the winning looks!
A portion of the proceeds from the event will go to the charity Fashion Delivers, which provides products from the fashion industries to victims of natural disasters.
Fashion designers Malan Breton, Keith Lissner, Kathlin Argiro and industry experts Greg Littley, Hitha Prabhakar, Nathan Cooper, Sheryl Berk and My'It'Things Editor-in-Chief Yuli Ziv narrowed down this talented list to the top three finalists: Nora Del Busto (Chicago), Wakana Koike (NYC) and Adolfo Sanchez (Las Vegas). Each finalist was presented with $1,500 to work on their collections for Spring 2009 and will showcase their creations in a live runway show! See who wins live and receives the grand prize of $5,000!
