Musicfest Vancouver presents Vicky Chow, piano at Musicfest Vancouver Discovery Day August 13, 2011

Pianist Vicky Chow, originally from Vancouver and now a resident of New York, specializes in contemporary music and is a member of the famous Bang on a Can Allstars. Her Masters Degree from the Julliard School of Music has helped to equip her for a successful performing career. With an emphasis on recently composed works, her recital will include extended techniques, electronic sounds, and pure keyboard virtuosity. Part of MusicFest Vancouver's Discovery Day.
