Musicfest Vancouver presents Touche Vocal Jazz August 12, 2011

An a cappella explosion of energy, Touché Vocal Jazz is an award-winning 14-member ensemble from Copenhagen, Denmark. Led by the charismatic Jesper Holm, Touché has gained tremendous acclaim with their vocal interpretations of the American songbook.

"I've been trying for five years to bring this group to Vancouver," comments Festival Program Director, George Laverock, "And I'm thrilled that they are finally coming! I heard them in 2006 in France and was bowled over by the ensemble's big band power and the numerous amazing scat singers in the group. MusicFest Vancouver audiences are in for a treat!"
