Musicfest Vancouver presents Silk and Bamboo: A Musical Journey to Taiwan August 11, 2011

The six-member Chai Found Music Workshop Ensemble from Taiwan is dedicated to performing on traditional Chinese instruments such as the pipa, erhu, and guzeng. Their performance for the 2010 Cultural Olympiad was a smash hit and their MusicFest Vancouver concert will be equally stunning, featuring a mix of Taiwanese folk songs and brilliant compositions written for them by some of Asia's foremost living composers.
