Musical Theater Guild: Violet June 15, 2009

A musical by Brian Crawley and Jeanine Tresori. Violet is a simple country girl who boards a bus in hopes of finding a TV evangelist who can cure her disfigured face. She meets up with two soldiers who hopelessly fall in love with her regardless of her appearance. She discovers that the Evangelist is a charlatan. The music ranges from blue grass tunes to country to gospel.
