201 E. Randolph Street
Chicago, Illinois

Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs and Millennium Park, Music Without Borders expands this year to eight concerts June 3 through July 22. In its fifth year, the wildly popular free international music series features traditional folk and pop artists from around the globe.

The Haitian Fireball and its big band of thirteen musicians bring the sounds of merengue, konpa and bolero to the stage when they make their Chicago debut in Millennium Park. Note the late start time.

UPDATE:  Batata y Las Alegres Ambulancias is unable to tour the United States due to visa issues, and they will no longer open this show.   Orchestre Septentrional d'Haiti will extend their set instead.

Music Without Borders is supported by grants from the Governor's International Arts Exchange Program of the Illinois Arts Council and The Chicago Community Trust.
