Music - Portugese & Goan Delights July 31, 2008

The Bangalore School of Music & Dockers San Francisco brings you Portugese & Goan Delights, a concert featuring talented singer Sonia Shirsat along with guitarists Dinesh K and Felix Anto. Incidentally Shirsat has been rated as the best Fado singer the country has had. Fado (translated as destiny or fate) is a music genre which can be traced from the 1820s in Portugal and is the most popular form of Portuguese music.
