Music in the Stacks: Sandeep Koranne September 28, 2009

Join us for an evening of Indian classical sitar music. Sandeep Koranne has been playing the sitar since age 8 and gave his first public performance at the age of 14 years. Sandeep has performed on All India Radio, the world's largest radio broadcasting service, and gives regular Sitar performances. In this performance Sandeep will be playing two traditional Ragas on the Sitar followed by another small piece. He will also introduce some concepts of Indian classical music and sitar to the audience.
