Music Gym & Lounge Fundraiser Week March 10, 2008

The Music Gym & Lounge on 6th Street in downtown Austin is proud to present the 2008 MGL Spring Fundraiser Week. This week-long series of unique parties, outdoor concerts, and events will include artists, actors, bands, and performers from around Austin and across the country.

The festivities will begin on Monday, March 10th, and continue to Sunday, March 16th. Though this series of parties coincides with the well-known South By Southwest Music Festival in surrounding downtown Austin, the MGL Fundraiser Series is not affiliated with SXSW, nor does it claim to be. Our fringe parties are presented as free or very cheap shows open to the public and all proceeds will benefit our new Music Gym & Lounge musician’s co-op on 6th Street.

The Music Gym & Lounge music venue, music co-op, and bar is located at 815 East Sixth Street in Austin’s downtown, at the heart of the infamous Sixth Street Entertainment District. The building sits on the South East Corner of the intersection of North IH 35 and 6th Street.
