Saxophonist Boney James to Headline 7th Annual Music City Jazz, Blues & Heritage Festival

Nashville's Riverfront Park nestled on the bank of the Cumberland River with its lush greenery and the historic backdrop of the Downtown District provides the perfect setting for the Music City Jazz, Blues & Heritage Festival. For the SEVENTH YEAR, the melodious sounds of Jazz, Blues, Reggae, Funk, Gospel, Soul, and R&B will be featured in a musical collage for all to enjoy.The 7th Annual Music City Jazz, Blues & Heritage Festivaloffers nationally renowned artists along with local flavors. Music has a way of bridging cultural gaps that exist in our society. The two-dayFestival will take place over the Labor Day Weekend Holiday 9/5-6/2009.

A portion of the proceeds from the festival will benefit the Nothing But Love (NBL) Foundation, Inc., a non-profit 501c3 organization and other deservingnon-profit organizations.This year's featured performer is Boney James, one of the most respected and best-selling instrumental artists of our time.
