Music at the Court House presents an afternoon of jazz that celebrates the classics with The Tony Gould Trio, performing at the Kew Court House, Sunday 18 November, 2pm.

Melbourne born Tony Gould is an Australian musical legend, admired in both the classical music and jazz circles.

Joining him in this concert will be cellist, Imogen Manins and master drummer David Jones, for a concert dripping with the true spirit of improvisation.

In a program inspired by Elmer Bernstein’s score for the film version of To Kill a Mockingbird, the trio will perform music by George Gershwin and Fredrick Loewe as well as compositions by the trio themselves.

The Tony Gould Trio is the last concert in this series until Music in the Court House comes back for 2013.

Music at the Court House is a series which runs on the third Sunday of every month until November.
