Muse Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge Offers Mother’s Day Specials and $24.95 Prix Fixe May 9, 2010

MUSE Restaurant & Aquatic Lounge will serve its $24.95 three-course “Build Your Own” prix fixe on Mother’s Day, Sunday May 9 beginning at 5:30 p.m. Mother’s Day specials will also be offered. The prix fixe offers a selection of four appetizers, five entrées and two desserts as well as vegetarian options. The menu is offered all night Thursday through Sunday. The menu includes:

STARTERS
*Soup of the Moment (Here Today and Gone Tomorrow)

*The Muse “in da House” Salad – Baby greens tossed in a Roma tomato balsamic sour on a bed of feathered cucumbers, topped with crumbled Boursin cheese in a tomato bowl

*“Not Ya Mama’s Meatballs” (You get one of each)
“Asian” – Sweet and spicy chili sauce with seaweed salad “Italian” – Pommodore sauce and shaved Parmesan “Thanksgiving” – Cranberry and caramelized Vidalia onion compote * “Swedish” – You know the drill

*“Uptown” Chicken Pot Pie (“It’s the New Black”) – Herbed chicken confit and fresh seasonal vegetables served piping hot with a puff pastry lid

SUPPERTIME
*Apple BBQed Boneless Pork Chops (“Pork Chops and Apple Sauce”) – Served on a charred scallion Johnny cake with Granny Smith apple, onion stir-fry in a buttered BBQ jus

*Mambo Chicken Italiano (Dean Martin’s Favorite Dish) – Lightly breaded chicken cutlets topped with warm Roma tomato, Boursin cheese bruschetta and herbed Parmesan spaetzle in a pesto cream sauce
