Murdoch Collections to display Maro Vandorou’s Vertical Time: Persofόneia October 15, 2010

On Friday October 15, Murdoch Collections will open an exhibit entitled “Vertical Time: Persofόneia,” by Maro Vandorou, her second installment in a trilogy. Vandorou’s previous body of work, “Fragmented Light,” exhibited in Athens, Greece; Belgrade, Serbia; Washington, D.C.; and Portland, Oregon. Murdoch Collections will open the show with a celebration on Friday, October 15, from 6 to 8 pm at 2219 NW Raleigh, with the show running through November 30, 2010. Viewers who attend the opening may also sign up for a subsequent dinner and artist talk on November 14 from 4 to 6 pm. “Vertical Time: Persofόneia” is funded in part by the Regional Arts and Culture Council (RACC).
