Indiana's Murder by Death layers the vocal sounds of an old saloon with the haunting strings of an Hungarian folk dance and the hard driving rhythms of pure rock n' roll, producing what Stuff magazine has called "lush, orchestrated songs," somehow simultaneously reminiscent of Johnny Cash and Radiohead. Fear Before the March of Flames released their album 'Odd How People Shake' in January of 2004. Heavy Heavy Low Low are a pop thrash outfit from San Jose, California. The soul-baring post-hardcore quartet Thursday released their debut, 'Waiting,' in 1999. Signing to the Victory label they issued 'Full Collapse' in 2001 and toured with acts like Boy Sets Fire and Sparta. Thursday's frequent gigging and furious passion fueled a grassroots response, and by 2002, the band was on the main stage of the Warped Tour and enjoying radio and MTV support of its single 'Understanding in a Car Crash.'
