The Corrales Historical Society
presents
What: “Mudders’ Day” Weekend
When: Saturday & Sunday, April 28th & 29th
Where: Old San Ysidro Church, Old Church Road, Corrales
Come celebrate a Corrales tradition!
This April 28 & 29, everyone is invited to participate in “Mudders’ Day Weekend.” Friends and Neighbors come together to help mix and apply adobe mud to the walls of the Old Church and attend to any other details of restoration that need doing. We’re there all day from about 9:00 am until 4 pm or so.
Come and volunteer to help restore the Church, the grounds, maybe get a little mud on you and otherwise have a great time! A great lunch is provided by the Historical Society Docents and everyone seems to enjoy this shared experience of caring for the Old Church.
FURTHER INFORMATION: The program is free and open to the public. The Old Church is fully accessible to persons with disabilities.
DIRECTIONS: Take the Alameda exit (West) from I-25. From the intersection of Alameda Rd (NM 528) and Corrales Rd. (NM 448), go north for 3 miles to Old Church Rd, turn left (west) and proceed 0.3 miles to the Old Church.
