It's never too early to introduce children to the magic of Mozart's music and his contemporaries, and this is the best possible way to do it.

Children up to 12 years will love the music and the chance to interact with the West Australian Youth Orchestra, dressed in 18th Century costumes, and their instruments.

A very child-friendly 'Mozart' (aka broadcaster, musician and wit, Guy Noble) will conduct and talk about the music especially chosen for young ears - such as; Mozart's 'The Magic Flute' and the 'Overture to The Marriage of Figaro'; Leopold Mozart's 'Toy Symphony' and Handel's 'The Cuckoo and the Nightingale'.

After the concert, children can enjoy a free '100-Minute Marathon of Fun' in the Perth Concert Hall gallery spaces, open to concert ticket holders. Activities for kinders will include wandering musicians and entertainers, indoor bouncy castles, a magician, face-painting, balloons and bubble machines, food and drink stalls.
