Mozart and Muspratt Performance November 9, 2007

Conductor Kirk Muspratt and New Philharmonic Orchestra are performing their second concert of the 2007-2008 season, “Mozart and Muspratt” at 8 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9, and Saturday, Nov. 10 at the MAC.

Performances will includeMozart’s “Requiem” and Schubert’s “Symphony no. 9.”

Muspratt will present his popular “Kirk’s Klassical Boot Kamp,” a pre-concert session designed to share insights with the audience about the origins of the music they are about to hear. This session will explore Mozart’s world during the time period he was composing “Requiem.”

More than 125 choristers under the direction of Lee R. Kesselman, will be joining the orchestra, along with soloists Tina Beverly, Nina Heebink, Harold S. Brock and Nathaniel Hackmann.

Tickets cost $33 for adults, $23 for students and patrons under 17, $31 for seniors.
