This month at Project Basho we are screening Yorgos Lanthimos' 2009 Greek film Dogtooth. Both funny and dark, and told with a subtlety and restraint missing from today's mainstream fare, Dogtooth explores the life of three siblings kept shut off from the world under the bizarre and troubling ethics imposed by their parents. Exquisitely shot in an understated style, the film achieves a rare beauty that makes it a definite must-see.

Winner of the Prix Un Certain Regard at Cannes and nominated for Best Foreign Language Film at the Academy Awards.

Snacks and drinks will be provided at the event.
