The 2006 Oscar winning film, "An Inconvenient Truth", will be shown and discussed. Guest speakers to engage and enliven the discussion include environmental experts from Indonesia and America. Amanda Katili Niode hosts this interesting movie and discussion after.

Global Warming is a phenomenon accepted worldwide. The movie, "An Inconvenient Truth", is hosted by Al Gore and won him the Nobel Peace Prize. The director, David Guggenheim, does a nice job of weaving the hot button topic of Global Warming into the milestones of Al Gore's life. After viewing this iconic movie, Amanda Katili Niode hosts a discussion of the issues and ideas presented by Mr. Gore. This is an issue that affects everyone's life so active audience participation is anticipated.

Amanda Katili Niode, is the Coordinator of the Communication, Information and Education Division at the Indonesian national Council on Climate Change. She was the former Special Assistant to the Indonesian Minister of Environment (2004-2009). Currently ibu Amanda Katili is the Manager of The Climate Project Indonesia, part of Al Gore's climate change leadership program. After personally trained by Al Gore in 2008, Ibu Amanda has completed presentations to almost 20,000 people all over Indonesia and abroad.
