WASHINGTON, D.C. - November 6, 2009 – Move Massive '09 brings together the best that the DC
Metro area has to offer. Some of the area's best bands are uniting to support a highly worthy cause at
one of the area's best live music venues. In an area with a large number of veterans, active duty, and
retired military, the Wounded Warrior Project is a cause deeply felt by many DC Metro residents.

“Wounded Warrior Project's top priority is getting desperately needed legislation passed by Congress to
provide critical support to family caregivers of severely wounded warriors including those with
catastrophic injures such as severe Traumatic Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, et al.”

Co-headlining the December 4, 2009 Move Massive event is Future, a band that defies categorization
and labels. Seamlessly integrating rock, hip-hop, soul, and funk is their forte, and they have been
blessed with a strong response both locally and on the national level. An explosive live show, a heavy
touring schedule, and a very positive vibe has brought them much success.

Also co-headlining is the DC-based reggae-funk super group SEE-I. Delivering a full-flavored reggae
sound, five of See-I's members are regular touring members of Thievery Corporation. The group has
recently released two singles — “How Could You” and “Homegrown” — on DC's Fort Knox
Recordings, home of Fort Knox Five. See-I has an infectious groove that keeps people dancing and
smiling all night with their funk infused dancehall jams.

Rounding out the line-up is Poor Man's Lobster, which hails from Northern Virginia. Their eclectic
blues-funk sound has won them wide support from the local colleges and bars.

Finally, performing an after party set following Future is Akil The MC of the legendary hip-hop crew
Jurassic 5. With the momentum of his 2009 release "Soundcheck101" and a UK Tour, the DMV will
have a unique opportunity to catch Akil as he returns to the states. Akil will not be alone, however, he
will be taking the stage with DJ Metrognome and Atlanta based indie hip-hop artist Quanstar. Catch
all three bands plus Akil jammin' for a great cause at The State Theatre in Falls Church, VA. The
State Theatre is one of the area's top tier music venues with an excellent atmosphere and sound system.
All advance ticket holders can visit the Music Intermix site to download a free promo album of tracks
from all three performing bands.
