In association with the Concord Council on Aging, artist Fletcher B0land will be presenting an exhibition featuring mountain and coastal photographs. The exhibition will be at the Harvey Wheeler Center (1276 Main St, Concord) from April 6th to May 3rd, 2007.

Winner of both national and local awards, Fletcher is an accomplished visual artist and works in a variety of mediums. One of Fletcher’s earliest works, a teapot Untitled, 2001 won the Boston Globe’s Gold Key Award and proceeded to the national level where it won a Gold Award from the Alliance for Young Artists and Writers and was exhibited at the prestigious Corcoran Gallery in Washington D.C.

Fletcher entered 10 black and white photographs into the Resonance group exhibition at the Beard Gallery (Norton, MA) in 2005. His work has also been featured in a number of other student shows and he has published several catalogue entries on 19th century painting in The Realist Impulse.

His work was featured on the cover of the 2004 Town of Sudbury Annual Report and his images are regularly displayed on the town’s home page.
