On Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 13, Gary Danko will begin service early, at 3:00 p.m. (last seating at 10:00 p.m.), offering their regular prix fixe menu options - three courses for $71.00, four courses for $89.00 or five courses for $104.00. Signature selections include Risotto with lobster, rock shrimp, shimeji mushrooms, asparagus and peas; Seared Sea Scallops with asparagus-pea purée, pickled watermelon radish, spring onions and sauce maréchal; Guinea Hen Breast with grits, Hen of the Wood mushrooms, beet greens, pancetta, pearl onions and hen sausage; Seared Filet of Beef with bacon-potato “risotto”, cassis-shallot marmalade and Stilton butter; Warm Louisiana Butter Cake with apples, huckleberry sauce and vanilla bean ice cream; and Baked Chocolate Soufflé with two sauces. Female guests will receive a complimentary long stemmed rose and every table will receive a chocolate memento and take-away breakfast cake. Walk in seating is available at the bar on a first come, first serve basis.
