Mosquito Death Squadron is an animated and quirky instrumental ensemble from the Washington, DC area. Because the group draws its influences from all across the musical landscape, Mosquitos sound can range from crusty-math-surf-metal to freeform-thrash-jazz to anything in between. Capable of being gentle and sublime or bold and brash, the bands energetic live show is a not to be missed! !

the dan roberts band is a modern jazz group playing restructured/reharmonized/rearranged works by indie rock bands such as deerhoof, the flaming lips, and the shins to name a few. the band also plays film music by the likes of bernard herrmann as well as original compositions by pianist/composer/arranger Dan Roberts. the textures the group create with their instrumentation (electric piano/guitar/percussion/clarinet/violin) are always interesting and exciting.
