Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra February 22, 2006

The Moscow Virtuosi Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1979 by Vladimir Spivakov, one of the most famous violinists of our days, after his debut as conductor with the Chicago Symphony Orchestra at the Ravinia Festival. The aforementioned debut was so successful that it made him select this group of high standard soloists from the most important posts in the greatest orchestras of the Soviet Union to create his own ensemble.
