Moscow Photographer Exhibits in Rocky River March 1, 2008

The Studio of 5 Rings is working with Ilya Gotfryd to bring the photography of Anastasiy Safari from Moscow to Rocky River, OH from March 1st to April 12th 2008. Safari's photography displays many of the wonders of the Asian continent in one inspiring collection. The gallery show opens with a reception Saturday March 1st from 6:00pm to 9:00pm. Photography of Anastasiy Safari is mostly inspired by cultures of Asia, where he did much of his traveling. His photographic vision and approach to color and composition are strongly influenced by his roots. He comes from a lineage of Armenians that escaped Turkey in early 1900s. His father was born and raised in the Armenian community of Georgia – situated in the eastern region of Eurasian continent. Anastasiy holds a Master of Arts degree. Now he has devoted himself to the search of his own freedom of vision within photography. Anastasiy recently got an honorable mention at International Photography Awards 2007 (IPA 2007) with his "Shrine of Travel Stories". This worldwide award has this year more than 20,000 participants from more than 90 countries.
