Morris Day and the Time October 26, 2007

Another of Minneapolis' best performers, Morris Day & The Time hit the mainstream in the mid-'80s with the Prince-produced singles 'Get It Up,' 'Cool' and '777-9311.' Midnight Star, a major synth-funk band of the 80's, scored several hits on the charts and went double-platinum with their album, 'No Parking on the Dance Floor' in 1983.
