'Morphosis' presents the work of the Los Angeles-based architecture collective Morphosis, led by Thom Mayne. The exhibition includes the firm's most recent built work, competition entries, and projects in progress, as well as a selection of earlier iconic archival projects that frame the evolution of Morphosis from an atelier once known primarily for research and "paper architecture" into a full-fledged architectural practice engaged in the design and execution of significant buildings worldwide. The focus of the installation will be a dramatic glass and aluminum structure conceived as a wafer-thin container packed with many layers of information and artifacts related to the architectural projects presented in the exhibition.
