Morgan Packard (Live | NYC | Microcosm)
Folks in the drum 'n' bass world may be familiar with his releases on labels like Offshore, and Breakbeat Science. Recently though, Morgan Packard has been interested in sixteenth century european vocal music,
experimental ambient textures, and saxophone/acoustic bass duets. His full-length collaboration with Ezekiel Honig ? Morning Migration ? was recently released, to critical acclaim, on the Microcosm label.
"...one basks in the understated and carefully sculpted beauty of Honig and Packard's work."
Packard has also been designing his own music sequencing software, which he'll use for his live Beat Research appearance.
