MORE THAN ME Fundraiser December 15, 2009

MORE THAN ME is throwing an amazing Fundraiser and we would like all to attend!

WHAT IS MORE THAN ME? - More than Me is an organization that funds education for children in Liberia. Liberia is one of the poorest countries in the world and many of the children cannot afford to go to school. For more info go to http://morethanme.org (work in progress).

WHAT'S THE POINT OF THE FUNDRAISER? - The goal of this fundraiser is to provide school supplies for 500 students and full scholarships for 10 students who otherwise cannot afford an education. The second goal is to give us all an opportunity to come together for a good cause and hopefully meet some people we otherwise would not have a chance to meet and build a stronger local community.

Also several local vendors are donating items which will be auctioned off in a silent auction. There will be dance off's, random games and such, and of course dancing and drink specials.

WHY SHOULD I CARE? - A. Cause you should, B. Cause you should, C. Because we are all better off for having the luxury of our school systems, an educated world is a better, and we have the chance to help that happen.

WHY ARE YOU DIFFERENT THAN THE 10000000090999 OTHER NON-PROFITS? - Because this organization is made up fully of volunteers who are working their butts off and, beyond helping those abroad, we can all hopefully use this opportunity to being a closer community here with one another.
