In this prescient lecture, Professor Moshe Habertal of Hebrew University will examine the moral limitations and challenges inherent in fighting a war on terror within, on and beyond one’s borders. He brings to this a unique perspective having been a consultant to the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) on the development of ethical codes of conduct.

Prof. Habertal is a Professor of Philosophy at Hebrew University in Jerusalem, the Gruss Visiting Professor of Law at NYU and the Michael Steinhardt Fellow at YIVO.

The moderator will be Dr. Ezekiel Emmanuel, Chair of the Dept. of Clinical Bioethics at the National Institutes of Health.
