The City of Moorpark invites you to the annual Moorpark Arts Festival on Saturday, April 27 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Historic High Street and at the High Street Arts Center at 45 E High Street. Experience a day of art with live performances, art displays, and hands on activities. Dozens of artists will be offering a wonderful range of hand-made arts and crafts for purchase. This arts festival is free to attend.

Artwork ranging from youth to professionals will be displayed at the Moorpark Chamber of Commerce, High Dance Studio, and the Arts Foundation Offices. High quality artwork ranging from photography, paintings, to gourd art will be on display. You can meet the artists and learn about their craft, and purchase original pieces from vendors and exhibitors.

Learn different art forms with hands-on experiences at multiple locations throughout the event including gourd art, ceramics, and the art of boomerang design.

Enjoy live performances on two stages including singing, dance, art education, and local book author discussions, plus performances by the Moorpark Has Talent show contestants.

This year the Moorpark Arts Festival is introducing the Passport program. The public will receive stamps for visiting the different areas on their passport. Once they have received all the stamps the passport can be turned it into the City of Moorpark library booth for a fun prize! To pick up your passport, visit the information booth at the event, or attend the Jose-Luis Orozco performance at the Ruben Castro Human Services Building on Friday, April 26.

The evening before the festival, join the Moorpark/Simi Valley First 5 and the City of Moorpark for an evening of family entertainment at the Rueben Castro Human Services Building Courtyard, 612 Spring Road. José is a children's entertainer, bilingual educator, & children’s author. He has won many awards & performs all over the USA. José’s music is fun, exciting & children and family’s sing, dance, clap & laugh! Bring your lawn chairs. All families in attendance will receive the Moorpark Arts Festival Passport and receive one stamp. Show starts at 6:00 pm sharp!
