Monumental 'Miniatures': Large-Scale Paintings From India January 19, 2011

Drawn from the Museum's collections, this exhibit features large-scale Indian paintings dating from the 15th through the 21st centuries. Some of the earlier paintings were done on cotton or wood due to the difficulty of making paper of sufficient size.
