DESCRIPTION:
Ovarian Cancer Canada is a registered Canadian charitable organization, providing leadership by: (a) Supporting women living with the disease and their families, (b) Raising awareness in the general public and with health care professionals, and (c) Funding research to develop early detection techniques, improved treatment and, ultimately, a cure.

Listen Up. Today, take one minute. Listen – really listen – to your body. Is it trying to tell you something? Have you had symptoms like bloating, pelvic pain, abdominal pain, indigestion, feeling full quickly, or frequent or urgent urination? They might be nothing. But if these symptoms persist for more than three weeks, they could be signs of ovarian cancer.

Get Loud. Currently there is no reliable early detection test for ovarian cancer. Awareness of symptoms is our best defence against the disease. If you are having symptoms, talk to your doctor. And even if you are not, spread the word among your sisters and friends. Because the more noise we make, the better we’ll all hear.
