Monterey Jazz Festival 50th Anniversary Tour March 7, 2008

The 50th Anniversary Tour of the famed Monterey Jazz Festival makes a stop at Tilles Center for the Performing Arts on Friday, March 7. The 8 pm performance, in Tilles Center’s North Fork Hall, is sponsored by The Roslyn Savings Foundation.
The 50th Anniversary Tour features jazz greats Terence Blanchard on trumpet, James Moody on saxophone, Benny Green on piano, Derrick Hodge on bass and Kendrick Scott on drums. They appear with vocalist Nnenna Freelon.
Tickets for the Monterey Jazz Festival’s 50th Anniversary Tour performance, at Tilles Center on Friday, March 7 at 8 pm, are $65, $45, $30 (Seniors $62, $42, $27).
