With squeezeboxes strapped to their chests, the Monsters of Accordion are launching an assault on West Coast cities from Seattle to Los Angeles this December. The legendary Corn Mo, known for his work with Ben Folds, They Might Be Giants and The Bindlestiff Family Circus, fills the room with his epic voice and inimitable original songs. Pink-haired accordion pin-up goddess Renée de la Prade squeezes punk rock power into Celtic and zydeco melodies as she pounds the floorboards and pumps her low-slung button box. Just back from Serbia, The Petrojvic Blasting Company have burnt venues to the ground across Europe and North America with their fiery young take on Balkan gypsy music. They are joined by infamous accordion howler, Jason Webley, who organizes the annual tour and is known around the world for his gigantic voice, his frenzied squeezebox playing and the ability to make any room of strangers throw their arms around each other and sing their hearts out.
